Review of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) by Sarah P — 01 Jul 2010
Crap. The first wasnt even really good, but very entertaining. but wow. This may have been a little funnier than the first, but all around the same kind of predictable stuff as the first with even less of a story line.
The first is better. And of all this, Julie Benz rises to the throne of god aweful sequel disapointment with her aweful acting, and her God-aweful "southern accent". What I see here is another waste of Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus' talent.
A little of it triedto shine through with the first one, but seeing this was like what watching Tom Hanks and Sean Penn in Transformers 2 would have been like. Same goes for Billy Connoly, and Clifton Collins Jr, whose excellent performance in Capote first introduced me to him.
They straight up shouldnt have bothered to make this movie.
