Review of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) by Ashli H — 12 Sep 2010

Let me get this out of the way. I really liked the first one, but this one just sucked. They tried to basically make the same movie, only making it corny and hardly watchable. The thing you hear people say about movies like this is that it's clear that the 'filmmakers weren't taking the material that seriously" -- which is a way of saying, they made the movie really corny.

Now, I don't mind taking a light approach to a movie ... I can take a little corny-ness, but the crap that was in this movie was B-movie humor at best. Cliche after cliche with redneck-level humor .

.. what a way to ruin what was a really cool original movie.
