Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Nonya B — 11 May 2012
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. Its got quite a bit of dark comedy and some decent action. My only reservation is regarding Willem Dafoes gay FBI agent. I think it could be taken as a negative stereotype rooted in homophobia.
On the other hand, I think the character was meant to be mocking the prejudices of those around him, not to mention more than a little bit insane.
