Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Ged F — 19 Jun 2012
It's a pretty rougly-executed independent feature, and it was made in the wake of the '90s Pulp Fiction'esque crime-drama trend, but I don't see why it was so harshly reviewed by critics.
It's a fun little b-grade action movie that tries not to take itself too seriously, but is still amusing even when it accidentally does. Willem Dafoe especially brings a lot of energy and charisma to the picture, as always.
