Review of The Book Thief (2013) by Kostas S — 01 Mar 2014

I have read the book and was hooked with the horrific ending and therefore couldn't wait to go and see the film. I found the first half of the film slow and a bit boring but as it got closer to the end, it became more exciting and eventful than the first hour or so.

I will admit that I did cry at the heartbreaking ending that was portrayed even better than in the book.

Overall it was an amazing film with amazing actors and plot line. Would recommend it to anyone!
