Review of The Book Thief (2013) by Lilianetty L — 28 Mar 2014
Is a wonderful story no doubt but the point of view keeps been....nothing new. The acting is marvelous, the score is powerful but really, nazi (human) stories, humans (some call it jews, they are humans to me) escaping the "evil" or US (a name given to a piece of land) "saving" the day is not new and is dumb this 21 century.
..and when I say this is that is OLD and we need creative stories not based on the PAST. PS: The book may be a "best-seller" but it remind me of "Anna-Frank" somehow (and that IS a book fair to read and watch every day, still.
..)....by still I mean humans are stupid and can't help it saying it over and over again. Thank heavens for those who construct and don't destroy, for those who protect nature and the animals and by animals I mean humans & other species alike (yes, we are animals d'accord? Is not new information/we are equal).
3 stars of 5 (hate war and human stupidity so that's why I did not give it 5/5). Enjoy. - March 28, 2014 review.
