Review of The Book Thief (2013) by Xava A — 31 May 2014
Despite the fact that I have only given this film three stars let me just warn you, for those of you who have not read the book, that this film is a life ruiner. You will laugh and cry multiple times until you don't know what to do with yourself. If you've read the book, like I have, you will start with the sobbing a lot earlier just because you know what's coming.
It has a clogged up middle, as a bunch of events are altered and changed around for whatever reason but the main key scenes are still there and they still hurt so good despite it all.
