Review of The Book Thief (2013) by Cliff C — 01 Aug 2014

Having read the book this movie was based on, I must say this movie did an exceptional job of portraying the touching story of the book thief.

While some scenes did feel rushed at times, and the atmosphere as well as time laps could differ and change, I felt that this was made up for with some truly spectacular acting. The characters and dialogue all felt real and it was very moving.

I will likely watch this movie again and again! I recommend it to anyone who has read the book. If you have not read the book, see the movie all the same. It's well worth viewing.
