This sentimental drivel adds absolutely nothing to the ever growing cache of WW2 movies. The fact that the fairly boring and annoying girl at the centre of this yawn inducing film lives is so infuriating, to kill her off would have at least given it some guts.
cliché after cliché and the narration by oooooh wait for it, " death" or the grim reaper makes it utterly insufferable. Give this a miss please or bring a bucket.
