Brilliant Film. I think critics have slightly missed the point. I think this is a film about humanity and the triumph of humanity over evil, even when all seems lost. The film strikes the right tone by not overworking the Nazi theme, and it is almost more terrifying by the normality of the violent, racist thuggery depicted.
Sadly for the characters, it was normality. Albeit, obscene, horrific normality ...
