It's so rare to see TRULY unique animation in a wide released kid's movie, but that's exactly what we get in this absolute visual feast of old mythology mixed with effective modern humor. The script is sweetly romantic and full of great one-liners, along with a great anachronistic soundtrack of mariachi versions of popular music (Radiohead, Mumford & Sons).
