Plot-wise it's a "children's movie" made for children, entire plot and script is predictable to the point of hilarity.
One hand animations and colors are beautiful and the character designs are quirky, but other hand when the Mexican characters start singing English country(?) pop music as love songs the whole mood gets ruined.
