Review of The Book of Life (2014) by Neil R — 30 Jul 2015

Not the most involving narrative, compared to the recent chain of great animated features, but still a fun diversion for both children and adults. The animation is highly original and completely entrancing, especially in a particular scene that involves a Mexican Day of the Dead parade.

Choosing to include actual hit songs, rather than originals, also makes it stand out amongst a typical Disney-fair.
