Jason C's comment about human secularists is incorrect. I am a human secularist and I thought this movie vividly and convincingly portrayed the time-honored power of the Bible to inspire murder, greed and human treachery.
I would have given it a higher score but the crazy cannibals made the movie descend from fable to pastiche.
