Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Gerryg — 21 Feb 2010

Mix a little western, a little Mad Max, a little mystery, a couple of good actors, and you get a decent film. Denzel does a good job, and Oldman does his usual schtick as the big bad boss (which he always does well), but the other actors, and the script, just quite aren't up to making this a top-notch film.

But for what you get, it's enjoyable and intriguing.
