Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Bryce F — 10 Feb 2012
The color and lighting of this movie give it the dry, gritty kind of feel that the post-apocalyptic films need to have and the action scenes are well-choreographed. Also it has the message that religion will be one of the things that will help rebuild civilization after it collapses, which is taking a definite risk.
That adds to the somewhat hopeful ending of the movie.
