Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Carl H — 20 Feb 2012
An entertaining, if sometimes bleak apocalyptic movie, staring the brilliant Denzel Washington, as a lone warrior called Eli. In this film war has ravished mankind, gangs roam the earth stealing and murdering, but Eli carries our last hope.
Even if the film is Cliched at times, there is always some good action to be had. To be honest the whole film is a bit nuts, but hey! That is what we want. There is some good acting and explosive special effects.
If you want compelling drama, this is not for you my friends.
