Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Stephen E — 15 Jun 2012
Most of "The Book of Eli" isn't easy to swallow, but it's still one of the better post-apocalyptic tales of recent memory. Yeah, it's uneven in certain aspects and the score doesn't quite fit the action onscreen most of the time, but the Hughes brothers direct some of the most dazzling sequences of stylized mayhem you're likely to ever see in a motion picture.
