Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Zachary C — 25 Oct 2012

If this is a good example of anything it's that this is a movie that was good, but only because of the amazing musical score produced by Atticus Ross. The first time I watched it I was blown away, but after the third or fourth viewing of it I was starting to become bored by it.

And back to the point about the music. The music was amazing. It was powerful, uplifting, soothing. And most of the effect in this movie was more due to the fact that the music score was so amazing rather than the work of the cinematography, directing or acting.

But I will admit it is definitely a movie that you should watch at least once.
