Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Sebastian S — 05 Apr 2013
The movie was a masterpiece as far as im concerned. The inclusive message of faith wasn't directed towards one faith in particular. It was about how any Religion can be used to control and be manipulated for power.
There are many ways to interpret the message of the movie. I like to think that faith is lead by example, no need to preach. Just to see the skills alone are a gift from god, but when you find out he was blind, and endured so much to fulfill his mission was a well hidden twist.
I'd have to say, the book being in Braille, the other blind women who was enslaved, the enforcer following his example before dying well written, well directed, well produced, and my favorite -amazing Martial arts coryography by The best!
