Though I didn't get that the main character was blind the first time I watched it, I found that to be what drew me in even deeper every time I watched it there, which was like ten times straight. I don't think you have to wax all religious to like this joint, the theme is just the same time after time done in a smooth way that Denzel is expert at doing in his own style.
