Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Dc E — 07 Feb 2012
A solid film. washington and oldman give outstanding performances. kunis and stevenson give great performances as the side kicks to the 2 leads. the religious tones are very apparent at times but serve as back story.
dialogue was cheesy at times but it helped propel story forward. 1 problem I have with many post apolycapse films is the roads filled with cars. in this film and I am legend, there are few of such shots.
instead cinematography and tone tell us world has ended and few survivors will do anything to live another day.
