Review of The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990) by Liam H — 03 Oct 2008
To make it clear straight away although the film was enjoyable in parts it was infact a definite miss with major flaws. The story itself however, written by Tom Wolfe, was fantastic: an over-exaggeration of the real lives of New Yorkers in the 1980s made an a real examination of the politics of the decade.
