Review of The Bodyguard (1992) by Ifiok O — 02 Aug 2010
From the brief period in which Costner could do no wrong, this is far better than it has any right to be. Costner channelling the spirit of Steve McQueen in a role originally written for the' king of cool'.
Whilst this is far from perfect the romance between the two leads, Houston in her debut role, is wholly unnecessary but other than that this is a taught and well paced thriller.
