This movie is Whitney Houston's "Mahogany"! Whitney brings to life a Hollywood character that has and electric voice and personality to boot. Additionally, what Kevin Costner adds to the charm of a Cinderella story type love, is absolutely incredible.
Costner stands in as the Clark Kent, giving depth to his man of steal like presence, as he plays Houston's character's body-guard, Which is the glue that holds this classic contemporary music and love story together.
