As somebody who doesn't watch the TV series besides occasionally watching a re-run or two while flipping through channels, I recommend this movie. The animation is the highlight here, very fluid and stylish.
The music was alright, and the story was good. The jokes were pretty funny, but if you like more fast paced humor in the likes of Family Guy, which can be in your face and "rapid fire" with the jokes, I don't think you'll enjoy the humor as much, as the jokes are slower paced usually with a monotone delivery.
If you aren't big into Bob's Burgers, I feel like you can still get enjoyment out of this movie, I at least did.
