John Landis delivers us a memorable cult with hilarious stunts, perfectly played characters, and of course, some good music.

Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi portray their Saturday Night Live characters in a fashion that is so great that no other actors possible could replace them. Elwood (Aykroyd) is a laid back harmonica player, who even though has a record of driving recklessly, can still be trusted by any other fellow friend or musician, and his brother, Joliet Jake Blues (Belushi). Jake, who has been released from Joliet Prison, and has reunited with his brother, along with a scheme up his sleeve.

Jake wants to reunite ''the band'', and Elwood takes some time to think about if The Blues Brothers should reunite, or if he should continue selling cars for microphones, and commencing car chases inside of malls.

Elwood decides. Of course, the band must be united, but sadly, the band members, who are real-life, talented musicians, have gone their separate ways. The brothers then go all out in Chicago to find and bribe their members help make The Blues Brothers have a great return.

I must say, this movie is odd. It's weird. Somehow, John Landis and his incredible cast manage to deliver us a film that has a brilliant flow and memorable scenes that we can't help but like it. First of all, the comedy is hilarious. It's hard to make a lot of people laugh, and The Blues Brother's cracked me up. The car chase scenes were hysterical. I'll bet anyone that more cars were destroyed in this film than the first season of ''The Dukes of Hazzard''.

Speaking of that great cast, you will see plenty of notable musicians and actors, such as Aretha Franklin, Cab Galloway, James Brown, Ray Charles, Steve Lawrence, John Candy, and even Steven Spielberg.

Yes, you will see plenty of bizarre, and not to mention, random things in The Blues Brothers. If you're up to seeing cars being crushed, a city's police force going insane, rednecks, an insane Nun, and ''Illinois Nazis'', than you will love this film.
