This is the greatest film ever made. Yes, it's a Saturday night live film. Yes, it's 2 and a half hours of car chases and r&b numbers. And that's what makes it succeed so well. The two main actors are perfect in their roles.
I am not a big fan of dan aykroyd, but he does very well here. Not only that, there are abundant cameos from some of the greatest actors and blues musicians of all time. It is, put simply, a movie you never want to end.
Yes, it's stupid, and for some people, runs way too long, but it's all about music and it's simply fantastic. A must watch movie.
