Review of The Blue Angel (1930) by Louis L — 10 Jun 2010
A local professor falls in love with a dancer at the Blue Angel who goes by the name Lola. He ends up losing his career over this but marries her all the same. But, is loving Lola worth it?
This movie feels more recent then 1930 and I enjoyed just about everything about it. I liked the backstage scenes. I loved what happened to the professor as the film went on. I thought the school scenes where the students weren't showing him any respect were well done and all the acting in it was great.
