Review of The Bloody Brood (1959) by Wes S — 22 Aug 2012
Mill Creek's 50 Movie Pack: Chilling Classics Reviews.
THE BLOODY BROOD [1959]: A mildly entertaining 1959 Beatnik schlock-fest which was the onscreen debut of Peter Falk (of COLOMBO & A WOMAN UNDER THE INFLUENCE [1974] fame). THE BLOODY BROOD sees Falk's Character and his fellow crazed murderous Beat freaks murder a young telegram delivery boy. This then leads to the older brother of the deceased boy who comes after them. Decent acting from a talent young Falk and a decent script with typical Beatnik stereotypes makes it worthy of a 60%.
