Magical and inventive film. Compared to Cocteau's later films such as "Beauty and the Beast" and "Orpheus," "Blood of a Poet" seems raw and more overtly experimental, but it is a visual feast nonetheless.

This review of The Blood of a Poet (1932) was written by on 17 Dec 2008.

The Blood of a Poet has generally received very positive reviews.
