Review of The Blob (1988) by Dave C — 26 Jul 2008
Monsterous and terrifying - and that's just Kevin Dillon's mullet! an 80s remake that couldn't be more of its time if it turned up on VHS wearing a Frankie Says Relax t-shirt and doing a Rubik's Cube.
That said, there are some good laughs (most of which are intentional) and a few genuine shocks amongst the victims of the titular gelatinous creature. Once again, to be recommended to fans of b-movies and creature features, so if that sort of thing ain't your cup of tea then i'd probably watch something else instead.
