Review of The Blob (1988) by Paul R — 11 Feb 2010
This is my least favorite of the 1980's body horror remake trilogy (other two being 1982's "The Thing" and 1986's "The Fly) but it's still a good film nonetheless. Great effects at some points but sometimes the Blob looks rather comical and foolish.
The boyfriend being consumed, the sink scene and the phone booth sequence are all excellent though! Parts of the script I love but others go beyond cheesy. Worth checking out!
