Horror movies have come a LONG way since The Blob, but it is interesting to see where the genre came from. This was low budget in 1958. The acting was abominable, and still you can understand how some people were able to lose themselves in this scary scenario back in the late 50's.
Also it is Steve McQueen's breakout role that started it all.
