The 1950s were known for its Sci-Fi craze, and here comes a horror flick (somewhat silly) called The Blob. I never considered this movie to be scary, but more so gross. I think what made this movie so popular was the blob itself and the infatuation people had with it.
It was gross looking, it moved slow, and slithered into the smallest places. It's the type of movie that makes you want to plug all the holes up in your home. A good B-movie flick from the late 1950s.
