Review of The Blob (1958) by Joel A — 16 Oct 2012
The ultimate so bad it's good film that debuted Steve McQueen's career. This perfect little B Grade Gem is just so ridiculous it's fun.
The mass known as 'The Blob' is terrorizing local town & the mass itself looks exactly like Jelly. The acting is shocking but there is somewhat of a plot.
This clearly has s cult following & I can see why it's just so cheesy. I like all the corners this film cut, like shooting the film at night to save costs not for atmosphere & the lack of detailed sets, a real fun piece of garbage....
