Review of The Blob (1958) by Matthew H — 20 Dec 2013

Due to it's cult status, I was expecting a lot more. It was an OK film, but for the most part it seemed pretty silly. I realize this was made in the 50's, but most of the characters seemed goofy to me, especially the what we are told to be "delinquent kids", who actually seem to be much older goody-two-shoes.

What also bothered me is how little screen time is given to the monster. What I really liked was the ending and the way they stopped the monster.
