Review of The Bling Ring (2013) by Noah N — 04 Nov 2014
Although 'The Bling Ring' (2013) is well-filmed, director Sofia Coppola never really captures any deeper meaning behind these real-life, celebrity obsessed, teenage burglars. Yes, these characters are successfully portrayed as superficial as they actually were, but hardly can we ever relate or even feel for them.
Nevertheless and as a positive, I do think this film accurately reflects how foolish American society can be about trending culture and fads. #goodnotgreat.
