Review of The Blind Side (2009) by Kirby P — 29 May 2012
Excellent movie! If you were handed the script, you'd probably conclude that this was just another cheesy made-for-TV morality drama; the only reason to even consider wasting your time on it would be the fact that it's a true story.
But although the plot sounds formulaic, it is not, and the characters elevate this film to one of the best ever. Of all the people involved in making this movie, I'd like to give credit to whomever was in charge of casting.
It's not just Sandra Bullock, although this is perhaps her best role; it's EVERYBODY. It's astounding that they managed to find people to play each of these roles so well.
