This is a good and solid feel good sports movie. But it's a higher quality lifetime film, which is a problem. The film suffers from unnecessary racial slurs that don't sound convincing, offensive caricatures, and it is predictable, HIGHLY predictable.
But it is funny, charming, and it makes you feel better about yourself after watching it.
