Groan-inducing, offensive, and despicably manipulative film. Bullock is a capable actress, but the film serves her in every way it can. A mediocre high school drama student could have pulled this off. A true story, but one that we've been spoon-fed hundreds of times already and by more capable filmmakers than John Lee Hancock.
