This was a really good, heart-warming story that happens to be true. I think that it's irrelevant that michael oher is a famous athlete now. based on how the story was told it didn't seem that the family brought him into their home for any other reason then that they were in a place where they could provide safety, security and ultimately love to this young and largely neglected boy.

I think that by the time he got there he would have been street smart enough to see through any misguided attempts at false charity. truly inspiring when people do good for good's sake.
