As soon as critics see that a movie has Christian ties they automatically begin to dislike a movie. JUST SHUT UP PLEASE. This is a wonderful movie. Sandra Bullock has an incredible performance and very accurately portrays a strong willed southern woman.
Sure, I will admit there are some cliche moments and quite a few moments of poor acting, but for the most part this flick does not disappoint. And of course some of the racist scenes are somewhat inaccurate.
However, the story here is too great to avoid. This movie is truly heartwarming and a wonderful tale of redemption.
