The movie blankets the feel good moments until you are nearly suffocating. A genuine performance by Quinton Aaron makes up for most of its' for-fed emotive moments, though, making it a movie worth watching.
Sandra Bullock is nothing more than serviceable in the lead role but fans will find that an understatement I am sure. The movie wants you to root for the underdog and does a decent job of making the viewer do just that.
