"The Blair Witch Project" is one of the most innovative films in the history of cinema. It is absolutely essential to watch this film if you're a horror movie fan. It's a very slow film, and not much is going on, but the sense of disorientation is extremely disturbing and creepy.
Another great thing about this film is that the Blair Witch is never once shown. The film leaves it up to the viewer's imagination to think of what the demon /ghost/whatever may look like, and I believe that people's imagination is far scarier than anything that can be put on film.
