The "Citizen Kane" of our generation. If you don't believe then think about how many movies tried to copy it afterwards. It also helped give birth to the "reality tv" movement as well.
This movie still gives me chills because like the great horror movies of the past it left it to your imagination to fill in the blanks while most movies drop the ball by revealing too much. Gore does not equate to horror.
What your imagination can come up with is far worse.
