Review of The Blair Witch Project (1999) by Daniel P — 12 Mar 2014
This is honestly the most suspensful and intense movie I have ever seen. As far as characters go, we only know what is shown on the tape, and their descent into hysteria is both believeable and unnerving.
It takes away the idea that viewers have to see some gory, horrifying creature and instead relies on the root of true fear; what our minds create. If you want deep plot, interesting characters, etc look elsewhere, but if you want a deepseated sense of fear, watch this horror masterpiece.
