I think it lives up a lot better than most give it credit for. It's a bit slow-paced but I think that pays off once we hit the final act as the group's paranoia hits an all-time high as the severity of their situation truly sinks in.
It makes for a very satisfying ending and made the Blair Witch worth watching.
