Review of The Black Hole (1979) by Leon M — 25 Apr 2008
OK, so neither the silly, wannabe Star Wars robot stuff nor the bone headed humor ages well, but Maximilian remains genuinely creepy and Reinhardt's ship/behavior are bizarre. Can't believe Disney let people get away with releasing this flick with all of its trippy images and its unsettling premise back in 1979, but they should try to cut loose more often.
Oh, and the John Barry score rocks.
