Review of The Black Hole (1979) by Luca B — 19 Apr 2009
A sci-fi movie of epic proportions when premiered in 1979, with some awesome special effects well ahead of its time. Great atmosphere, blessed by the magnificent character of dr.Hans Reinhardt played by Maximilian Schell and his evil right arm (a red giant robot named Maximilian, who would have guessed).
Too bad the dialogue is totally forgettable, and the screenplay looks exactly like a film from the 70s - which actually is - yet this is a milestone which deserves your time.
